Registration due for Mountain Fest Nov. 1st


Attention high school students! We're going to the WISP Resort in Deep Creek, MD Nov. 20-22...hangin' out, eating, singing, worshipping, playing, learning more about God, relaxing, hiking. Bring your friends, neighbors, cousins, or come by yourself and meet new people. We're going to have an awesome time finding out more about who God is and why we should care.


Cost is just $95! Money & Registration due Nov. 1st!


Guys will be staying and shooting at the Kitchens and ladies will be staying and playing at a Deep Creek lakehouse.

Fall Harvest Festival:Volunteers still needed


Liberty Church PCA invites you to join them in a night of free fun at the Fall Harvest Festival, October 30th 5:30-9pm in the Liberty Christian School gym located at 11301 Liberty rd Owings Mills MD 21117.

Children can choose from petting farm animals, playing games to win candy, riding on the hayride, jumping and sliding in a deluxe moonbounce, basking in the glow of a bonfire, or enjoying snacks at the concession stand.

Youth of all ages are welcome. Costumes are encouraged, but nothing scary please.

This event is totally free. And all proceeds from concessions go to support the Liberty Christian School 8th grade missions trip to Costa Rica.

X-Factor: Chubby Bunny

Sunday, October 25th, 7-8:30pm at 11301 Liberty rd Owing Mills, MD Liberty Church PCA will host the first annual Chubby Bunny competition. Champions from grades 6-12 will be chosen to represent their grade in this nail-biting, marshmallow-munching extravaganza. If you don't know what Chubby Bunny is, you've got to come to find out. If you think you already know what chubby bunny is, we've got a few tricks up our sleeve so... you've got to come to find out.
As usual we'll have all our other fun things to do at x-factor like: Bond, Wii tennis, foosball, ping pong, basketball, skateboarding, jungle gym and swings =), and field games (football?)

Also, we'll be learning about God. This week we'll focus on God's deeds. You can't know much about a person apart from their actions so we'll be focusing on how what God has done, reveals who he is.

Why: to have an evening of fun, fellowship, and learning

Please bring a snack or drink. Weather permitting there will be a bonfire. We will provide S'more supplies.

nota bene: As of October 12 the bridge across the reservoir from Nicodemus rd to Deer Park rd will be closed to traffic. Those from Baltimore county may want to use rt. 140 or rt. 32.

X-Factor:Football

That's Right! We'll be playing various football games under the lights! Wear your favorite jersey whether it's NFL, high school or college and come ready to play some football.

As always, X-Factor is open to 6th-12th graders, friends are welcome, it's from 7-8:30pm this Sunday Oct. 11th.

Oh and we'll be talking about God. This week we'll be talking about the roles of God: Creator, Warrior, Judge, Husband, and Father.

Volunteers Needed This Weekend!


What: Serve the City! We'll be staffing two projects: Nathan's house and Faith Christian Fellowship car wash. At Nathan's house we'll be hanging drywall, spackling, taping, painting, cleaning, and perhaps planting. At Faith Christian Fellowship we'll be washing, drying, cleaning, detailing, vacuuming cars, and interacting with Baltimore folks.
When:Meet at the church at 8am to split into the two groups. Return to the church by 6:15pm
Where: The Faith Christian Fellowship group will be working at 505 E. 42nd Street Baltimore, MD 21218 and Nathan's house is in Randallstown, coming from the west you take a right on Chapman and then a right on Colorado and it's the first house on your right. We will be meeting for dinner at the Virginia S. Baker Rec. Center at Patterson Park 27 south Patterson Park Avenue, Baltimore, at 4:30 for a celebration and catered Outback dinner.
Who: Youth, Families, drivers, friends, christians and non-christians welcome.
How Much: $10 suggested donation. Make checks out to "Chapelgate Presbyterian Church"
Why: Referring to himself, Jesus said, "The son of man came not to be served but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many." And since the servant is not greater than his master, we too should come to serve and not to be served.
What else: Wear your "Serve the City" T-shirts if you have one. Bring a paintbrush, gloves, or a rag. Oh, and a bag lunch is already provided for you.
